A challenging, full-time field opportunity for an experienced professional with a technical background in color, workflow, color proofing, and technical sales, to become a part of a dynamic business within the SEA group. Our ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in these applicable fields, with a current G7 certification being a major plus. Territory covers the Western US and Canada with coverage for other regions as required. Primary focus of position is pre and post-sales support for Epson's wide format SureColor printer product line.

A summary of the position is as follows:

-Collaborative to assist the Sales team in sales growth to our pro market Dealers
-Document understanding of requirement, timelines for installation and requests for customer site preparation conformance
-Make suggestions regarding workflow/process improvements for proposed solutions
-Uncover existing issues that may bar success of the sale or installation
-Identify with key personnel for pre sales success and clear, proactive, ongoing communication
-Pre and Post Sales interaction should include advanced skills in the construction of customer technical proposals and negotiation of paths forward for installation and troubleshooting
-Cultivate strong dealer self-sufficiency to drive their business through proactive knowledge sharing/ training. The applicant should have clear and convincing presentation skills
-Liaison with SE team members, Sales team, Product management, internal support groups to improve Epson offerings to the dealer and end user
-Rapid resolution of customer concerns

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical color and workflow role, with a focus on printing technology
-Minimum 5 years knowledge of color, workflow and technical sales
-Valid passport and driving license with the ability to travel upward of 70%
-Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
-Working knowledge of spectrophotometry and the instrumentation involved
-Must be adept at communication by reading, writing and interpretation of technical information
-Strong presentation skills
-The use of data collection software for customer interaction logging
-Working knowledge of typical workflow software/ RIPS
-Spanish speaking ability a plus
-Knowledge of printing substrates and their application
